This is a collection of pieces from Trek, the bike company, currently being promoted by our friends at SolidWorks. Although each video mentions the role of 3D CAD, and inevitably references their chosen CAD software, It's very far from being any sort of homage to SolidWorks.

It's basically three different designers from Trek talking about the design to manufacture process, outlining lots of interesting strategies to do with brand research and its role in product development, different levels of prototyping and working with manufacturing partners.



Lots of case studies that get pushed around the various design, CAD and engineering media are written specifically to highlight the capabilities of one quite narrow product or service. Although this unashamedly sponsored by SolidWorks and AMD (as well as Trek) it's refreshing to see the neutral approach they have taken with this campaign.
